Following radiation for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, the most severe pain I had ever known, focused in my lower back, took over my life. No conventional medical treatment helped. I was on 10 tablets of Norco that practically relieved the pain, but left me severely constipated and foggy-headed.
After an X-ray by Dr. Zimmer, she explained my pain was caused by a vertebra touching a spinal nerve. Her treatment would be to very, very slowly move the vertebra to a more normal position. Though skeptical (I am a R.N. with a PhD) I started treatment.*
Two weeks later the excruciating pain was gone. Four weeks later it was completely gone. I will continue the treatment for another six months to be sure the change is permanent. I feel as though I have my life back as a result of Dr. Zimmer's skilled and compassionate treatment.*
