Before coming to Martin Family Chiropractic, I had been experiencing headaches on a regular basis that were so severe, I actually wound up in the emergency room a couple times. I also had a lot of pain in my upper and lower back. I tried different things in an attempt to achieve some relief like stretching, twisting, bending, yoga, and massages. All my medical doctor could do was to prescribe prescription drugs which did nothing but “make me loopy” and make me addicted to them; so much so, that I actually had withdrawal issues when I finally went off of them. Nothing really seemed to help.
I was at my wits end when my husband, one day, had enough while I was experiencing another excruciating, painful migraines and drove me to see Dr. Zimmer. I had my first appointment. X-rays were taken. They revealed several areas of concern in the cervical area of my spine and in my upper back. No wonder I was having so much discomfort and so many headaches!
Within the first month of care with Dr. Zimmer, I started feeling better. My headaches disappeared. After another couple months of care, my backaches became a thing of the past. If I feel some discomfort I make sure I get checked, as soon as possible, and I feel relieved almost instantly. As an added bonus, I have noticed that I feel more energetic. I never knew that everyday life can be experienced pain free! Adding chiropractic care to my lifestyle has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.*
Dr. Zimmer was actually able to take care of my vertigo that I got as a result of drugs that I was put on for a stomach disorder! She also was able to pop a muscle back in place that has surfaced near my breast as a result of back problems that the doctors were suspected might be a tumor and wanted me to undergo tests for breast cancer.*
I definitely plan to continue with chiropractic wellness care and would recommend it to anyone that is experiencing physical discomfort and drug dependency due to medical care, as those drugs are merely band aids rather than correcting the problem.*
I am forever grateful, Dr. Zimmer--thank you for helping me obtain a better quality of life!
